Rhys Stanley to learn from the best

ST KILDA coach Scott Watters rates Nic Naitanui as West Coast’s most important AFL player, and wants young Saints ruckman Rhys Stanley to learn from the freakish Eagle when the pair locks horns on Sunday.

Stanley is on track to complete a breakout season at the Saints, with the 21-year-old averaging 11 possessions, almost nine hit-outs and more than a goal a game in seven appearances this year.

Naitanui, who stands at 201cm, has become renowned for his athletic ability and exquisite ruck work, but the 200cm Stanley also boasts an incredible turn of pace capable of cutting rival teams to shreds.
